Sometimes the blocker is a question that needs answering before the website can do its job. You may be asking: Who are my ideal clients? How much of my own story do I share? How do I describe work that's hard to pin down?

In either case, being close to your work makes it almost impossible to see the problem clearly. That's what this session is for – a one-to-one session giving an outside perspective on what might be causing confusion or disconnect.

I’ll review your website before we meet, so I come prepared. Then we’ll spend an hour together untangling the problem and finding a clear way forward.

How the Website Messaging & Clarity Session works

When you book, I'll send you a short questionnaire so you can tell me what you're struggling with and what feels unclear.

Before we meet, I spend time reviewing your website: the messaging, the structure, and the overall feel so I come prepared.

In the session I'll ask you about your work and your clients, and share my honest experience of your site. We focus on what you most want to untangle – so come with your questions.

I bring 20+ years experience making websites easy to use, understand and navigate. I’m also a qualified coach, which means I'm comfortable working at whatever level the conversation needs to go.

What you'll leave the session with

By the end of the session you’ll have a clear understanding of what's getting in the way — and a specific path forward. That might mean reworking your homepage, restructuring your services page, getting clearer on who you help, or finding better language for the work you do. Whatever it is, you'll leave knowing what it is and where to start.

Ready to book?

After booking

Once you've paid, you'll be taken to a booking page to choose a time that works for you. You'll receive a confirmation email with the meeting link.

Reschedules and cancellations

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24 hours notice if possible, and use the link in your booking confirmation email.

I’m not getting enquiries through my website. Will a Website Messaging & Clarity Session help me find out why?

Yes. If your website’s not clear on who you help and the outcomes of working with you, potential clients won’t get in touch because they don’t know your service is for them. I can help pinpoint where your messaging may be unclear.

Do I need to have an existing website to book a session?

No. If you're building a new website and want to get the messaging and structure right from the start, this session will help.

Do you provide the exact words to go on the website?

No. The review focuses on website messaging and structure rather than full wording. I may suggest example wording where helpful but I don’t provide website copy. If you need help with your website copy I’m happy to discuss it.

Is this a good session if my website’s finished but I don’t know if it’s any good or if I’ve missed something?

It depends. If you prefer a conversation about what’s working and what isn’t on your website, then a Website Messaging and Clarity Session is for you. If you prefer a written report with a priority checklist, a Website Clarity Review is better.

Will you tell me exactly what to change on my website?

I’ll give you clear recommendations on messaging and structure, but there won’t be time in the session to write detailed website copy together. If you’re looking for done-for-you website copy, the Four Core Website Pages service may be a better fit.
