Website Clarity Reviews for service-based businesses
Expert clarity feedback for coaches, therapists and practitioners who want their website to reflect what they do.
Clear website messaging and structure helps the right clients recognise your value and feel confident reaching out
Drawing on 20 years’ experience in content and user experience (UX) design, I review your site from the perspective of a first-time visitor.
I identify improvements to your messaging and structure so visitors quickly understand what you do and whether it’s right for them.
After your review, you'll know exactly what to improve first.
“Website clarity plays a big part in whether a potential client feels confident enough to take the next step. ”
Many experienced practitioners struggle to clearly communicate their expertise. When you're close to your own work it's easy to miss where visitors may feel unsure, confused or hesitant.
Who I help
I help practitioners and small businesses who are unsure whether their website speaks to their ideal customer. I provide an expert fresh perspective.
A Website Clarity Review can be especially helpful for practitioners whose work has evolved but whose website hasn’t kept up.

It’s probably not right for you if:
You want a full redesign
You want copywriting done for you

Result: clearer messaging and more confidence in the website
I asked Liz to look at my website because I was getting lots of messages suggesting I needed to upgrade it.
She gave clear, positive feedback and suggested some simple changes, including updating my language, strengthening my homepage information and simplifying some visuals.
I made the changes and now feel much more positive about my site.
Liz’s review was clear and practical and helped me refocus on what was already working as well as what to improve.
I would recommend a Website Clarity Review if you want an expert outside perspective on your site.
The review shows exactly what to improve first and why visitors may not currently be taking action.
Your review will come with a link to book an optional 15-minute call (audio or video) in case you have any follow up questions.
You may choose to make updates to your website yourself, but if you prefer help I’m happy to help you find a designer.
Common outcomes
Clients often discover:
Their offer wasn't explained as clearly as they thought
Important information was missing from key pages
Navigation was making decisions harder than necessary
Their expertise was understated
Simple structure changes could improve enquiries

Common questions about Website Clarity Reviews
Do you redesign websites?
No – I don’t redesign websites. My focus is on improving clarity, messaging, and structure so your existing site communicates more effectively.
What if I don’t want to make the updates myself?
If you'd prefer not to make the updates yourself, I can help you find a designer to help you make the changes.
Do you provide the exact words to go on the website?
No. The review focuses on website messaging and structure rather than full wording. I may suggest example wording where helpful but I don’t provide website copy. If you need help with your website copy I’m happy to discuss it.
What is your feedback style?
My feedback is constructive, practical and respectful. Most websites I review have strong foundations, so I highlight what’s working well as well as where clarity could be improved.
Do you only work with service-based businesses?
No, I work with other businesses too. Clarity principles apply to any business that needs to clearly explain what they offer. If you’re unsure whether a review would be useful for your business, you’re welcome to send me your website and I can let you know.
Booking terms
As this is a time-based review service, refunds aren't available once work has begun.
