A WEBSITE REVIEW FOR COACHES, THERAPISTS, AND WELLNESS PRACTITIONERS

Website Clarity Reviews

As a practitioner, you’re so close to your own work it can become impossible to know if your website speaks clearly to your ideal client.

A Website Clarity Review identifies improvements for your messaging, copy and navigation that make it easy for your ideal clients to know you can help and book a call.

At a glance

What it is: A review of three website pages (your choice of which three) giving feedback on where your messaging or structure is unclear and could be losing you enquiries, and what improvements to make.

What’s delivered: A 15-25 minute video where I talk you through any issues and a written report detailing three priority fixes, quick wins and a checklist of things to change. You also have an optional 15-minute call to ask any questions you might have.

Price: £250 – delivered within three working days of payment received.

Maybe you’ve spent years tweaking your website. Or maybe you changed it last month. Either way, you’re no longer confident it makes sense to the people you most want it to speak to. You might wonder if your messaging is clear, or if it makes a visitor hesitate to get in touch.

People need to understand what you do quickly. So do the tools they're increasingly using to find you – search engines, and AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude.

You have just minutes, sometimes seconds, to clearly and simply explain who you help and how.

A Website Clarity Review lets you know where your site is working well, and what needs improving.

How I can help

I have over 20 years’ experience in website messaging, copywriting and user experience design.

I know how people move through websites, what makes them click away, and what makes them stay, read on and get in touch.

I help you see your website clearly from a visitor’s perspective, so you can make focused improvements and have a website you feel confident sharing.

Who can benefit from a Website Clarity Review

I can help if you’re a coach, therapist or wellness practitioner and you want clarity on whether your website is easy to use, understand and that speaks clearly to your ideal client.

It’s helpful if:

  • You DIY’d your site and want to know if the messaging, copy and structure is clear

  • Your work has evolved and your site’s become a bit jumbled

  • You're not sure why visitors aren’t taking action (booking your services, signing up to your newsletter etc)

  • You’re considering a redesign and want feedback on what to improve

  • You want to make sure your offer and service pages are clear

  • You want to be confident your website is easy to navigate and there are no points of friction stopping an ideal client reaching out

It’s probably not right for you if:

  • You want a full redesign

  • You want copywriting done for you (see my Four Core Website Pages service if you’re looking for done-for-you copy)

The insight a Website Clarity Review gives you

I’ll review three pages that most affect whether someone trusts you or leaves – your homepage and two other pages of your choice.

The video and report gives you:

  • Details of where the messaging around who you serve or your offer is unclear

  • Suggestions for improving website clarity and structure

  • Suggestions for how to guide visitors toward easily contacting or booking you

  • Details of any key information that’s missing

  • Details of any accessibility issues like font size and colour

  • Suggestions on how to design your site so search engines and AI tools easily understand what you do

Testimonial: clearer messaging and more confidence in the website

I asked Liz to look at my website because I was getting lots of messages suggesting I needed to upgrade it.

She gave clear, positive feedback and suggested some simple changes, including updating my language, strengthening my homepage information and simplifying some visuals.

I made the changes and now feel much more positive about my site.

Liz’s review was clear and practical and helped me refocus on what was already working as well as what to improve.

I would recommend a Website Clarity Review if you want an expert outside perspective on your site.

How to book

Cost

£250

The process

  1. After you’ve paid for your Review, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to complete that gives me a bit of background on your business and whether there’s any specific feedback you’re looking for.

  2. I record a video of me reviewing your site as a first-time visitor.

  3. I send your video, written feedback and priorities within three working days.

  4. You can book your optional follow-up call within 14 days if you have any questions.

All feedback is practical, prioritised, and starts with the changes most likely to bring you more enquiries.

If you aren’t sure if a Website Clarity Review would be helpful, send me a link to your website and I’ll take a quick look and let you know – no obligation to book.

What happens after a Website Clarity Review

After receiving your review, you may discover:

  • Your offer wasn't explained as clearly as it could be

  • Important information is missing from key pages

  • The site navigation is making decisions harder than necessary

  • Your expertise is understated

  • Simple structure changes that can increase your number of enquiries

The review shows exactly what to improve first and why visitors may not currently be taking action.

You may choose to make updates to your website yourself, or I can update your site if you use Squarespace, or help you find a designer. This is an extra cost – it’s not included as part of the review.

Common questions about Website Clarity Reviews

Do you redesign websites?

No – I don’t redesign websites. My focus is on improving clarity, messaging, and structure so your existing site communicates more effectively.

Do you provide the exact words to go on the website?

No. The review focuses on website messaging and structure rather than full wording. I may suggest example wording where helpful but I don’t provide website copy. If you need help with your website copy I’m happy to discuss it.

What is your feedback style?

My feedback is constructive, practical and respectful. Most websites I review have strong foundations, so I highlight what’s working well as well as where clarity could be improved.

Do you only work with service-based businesses?

No, I work with other businesses too. Clarity principles apply to any business that needs to clearly explain what they offer. If you’re unsure whether a review would be useful for your business, you’re welcome to send me your website and I can let you know.

Booking terms
