Website clarity, messaging and copywriting for coaches, therapists and wellness practitioners.
The work you do matters.
Does your website say who it matters to?
Find out where your website is losing enquiries – and how to fix it.
You spent the afternoon changing your homepage for the umpteenth time (been there!), but it still doesn’t quite land.
And you’re not sure why...
Maybe it’s because:
Your heading doesn’t capture the felt experience of the people you want to work with, so they aren’t sure you’re the right person to help them
You’ve listed all the methods and modalities you use, and instead of being helpful, your potential client feels overwhelmed
Your copy, especially at the beginning of your homepage, is about you, so someone reading the page has to work hard to know exactly what you help with
So, with a spinning head, you try not to think about it. The thought of a perfect-fit client hitting the ‘Back’ button because your website isn’t clear on who you help and how, leaves you feeling demoralised.
Why it’s hard to know what to say and how to say it
It should be easy, right? After all, no one knows your work like you do… Which is what makes it so hard. Being inside your work makes it almost impossible to see it from the outside.
And coaching or therapy school gave you the skills to do what you do – it didn’t teach you marketing or website design.
This is where I help, providing a first-time visitor perspective, years of user design experience, and simple fixes.
No more guessing about what might be blocking enquiries. Just a clear diagnosis with straightforward solutions.
About me
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
I’ve spent 20+ years helping organisations and individuals ditch the confusing language, muddled structure and buried next steps that made their websites baffling to the people they wanted to work with.
I help you get clarity on your messaging (what you want to say and who you want to say it to) and have a site that speaks to your ideal clients so they feel seen, understood, and confident they’re in the right place.
I help people who love helping people – coaches, therapists and wellness practitioners. You deal with feelings and experiences, things that aren’t easy to put into words. But when you do find the right language and an ideal client lands on your website, their reaction is: ‘Yes! That’s me’, and they happily take the next step.
Having a website that leaves the people you love to work with breathing a little deeper because they suddenly feel less alone, is a website you’re proud to share.
And the confidence that comes from having this kind of website, is a little like the confidence that comes from wearing your favourite outfit...
Who I work with
A great website is the secret weapon in your confidence toolbox
When you put on your favourite outfit, the one you love to be seen in, that fits you perfectly in the colour that makes your skin glow, you feel like a million bucks.
That feeling of confidence the outfit gives you when you wear it to an event – like you own the room – a great website can give you that feeling too.
Okay... it won’t make your skin glow. But when you’re clear on who you help, and your website speaks to that person with clarity and compassion and gives them a clear next step, you feel good about sharing it. Your website sounds like you, acknowledges the challenges your clients are dealing with, and positions you as a solution.
And considering what it might have taken you to get here, you want to make sure it’s working as hard as it can for you.
You’ve done hard, scary things. Maybe you waved goodbye to the 9 to 5, and turned your back on corporate life. You might have stepped away from a guaranteed salary and into a role you’ve been dreaming about doing for years. And goodness knows the world needs your work right now.
Perhaps you pushed yourself to post on social media when you’ve always been more of a lurker (me, for sure). You’ve probably networked and sent emails, written blog posts and joined directories.
And your hard work is paying off – people are visiting your website.
What they find when they get there determines whether they become a client. A site that isn’t clear on who you help, is jumbled and looks a little unloved or out of date is a site that doesn’t build trust. And a site that doesn’t build trust is a site that doesn’t get enquiries.
When someone lands on your site you want them to stay for a while, have a look around and find out more about you and your services. That’s the kind of website I can help you have.
Don’t waste your hard work – your website should reflect the quality of your practice
Ready to have a website that brings you clients?
I have three services that help you move from a generic, confusing site, to one that speaks clearly and confidently to the people you help.
1. Website Clarity Review
This service helps you understand what’s not working on your website and what’s missing. If you’re getting visitors but few enquiries, a Website Clarity Review tells you why, and how to fix it. It’s a 20-minute video walk-through and checklist of what to change.
2. Website Messaging and Clarity Session
This is a one-hour, one-to-one conversation to help you get clarity if you’re feeling tangled around your niche, messaging or something else about your website. It helps you get unstuck and clear on your next steps.
Find out more about the One-to-One Website Messaging & Clarity Session.
3. Four Core Website Pages
This is for those of you who want done-for-you web pages – your pages need to change, but you don’t have the time or desire to write new ones. I write your four core pages – Home, Services, About and Contact, ready for you or your web designer to upload to your site.
If any of that sounds familiar, take a look at how I can help – whether you need a quick website review, or full web copy for one or more pages.
And if you aren’t sure what’s the best service for you, or you just need one or two pages reviewed or written, get in touch and we’ll work out what makes sense.
